Lake Macquarie Winds is an active community Concert Band comprising 27 amateur musicians under the baton of Dr Mark Pinner. The range of instruments includes flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, French horns, euphoniums, tubas and percussion. The band plays a variety of music from the classics, musicals, jazz and popular music such as Coldplay and Queen.

Parking is available in designated areas surrounding the venue
Accessibility
Accessible access to Rathmines Theatre is available via the ramp on the lake side of the venue. Attendees can be dropped off in front of the theatre via the ringroad. The venue has accessible toilets and two accessible parking spaces in front of the theatre.
