PRESS PLAY! Kids take over MAP mima

PRESS PLAY 2023 advert
Calling all creatures! We're pressing play on a weekend of fun for kids at the Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima.

Help us celebrate the end of our summer exhibitions WildLife and Feeling Objects with three days of creature-inspired feel-good festivities.

The wild rumpus starts with a family-friendly Friday night disco in The Cube. On Saturday, mask-making and performance workshops with Curious Legends will lead into a truly wild Curious Creatures Party featuring giant illuminated puppets that boogie to the beats.  Sunday will be a fun day with more kids' art activities and your last chance to experience  WildLife by James Price and Feeling Objects by Holly Macdonald.

Supported by Lake Macquarie City Council and the NSW Government through Create NSW and the Department of Regional NSW.
