Susan Eve

Susan is a local artist, living and working in Lake Macquarie. Working mainly in soft pastel, ink, pen and pencils, her work depicts a love of nature, it's calming influence, and the atmosphere created by light and cloud formations. She has been teaching pastels at Tinkat Alley Art Studio for several years and her work can usually be seen at Tinkat Alley's cottage gallery. Susan has been a regular exhibitor with Newcastle & Lake Macquarie Art Society as well as exhibiting at numerous galleries throughout Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley and NSW Central Coast, and was thrilled to be a finalist in the inaugural Lake Art Prize at Lake Macquarie Museum of Art & Culture in 2020.

Susan works mainly with soft pastels, pencils, ink and pen. Her subjects are of nature - particularly lake scenes, landscapes, trees and foliage with a current interest in skies and light.
