Live Music Lake Mac presents Darlinghurst
Join Darlinghurst and Piper Butcher for a fabulous night of music at Warners Bay Theatre in October!

Live Music Lake Mac, HIT Productions and Premier Artists presents Darlinghurst supported by Piper Butcher.

DARLINGHURST

Darlinghurst is a Golden Guitar winning act from Melbourne VIC, Australia. Originally a four piece, it was announced in December 2023 that they were moving forward into 2024 as a duo; comprising original members, Cassie Leopold and Pagan Newman.

Darlinghurst created a new sound in the Australian country sphere that is as accessible as it is unique. Grounded in refined songwriting, a keen ear for melody, relatable lyricism and exceptional performances, Darlinghurst has broad appeal that has been reflected in the success to date.

Their debut album, "Darlinghurst", entered the ARIA Australian Country Albums Chart at Number One, earned them the Golden Guitar Award for New Talent of the Year in 2022 and have played major festivals and support to some of music's biggest names including The Corrs, The Black Sorrows and Jon Stevens.

The first taste of the new Darlinghurst lands Friday 5 January with the brand-new single, "Unapologetic". Co-written by all four original members along with producers, M Squared. The song is uplifting and anthemic while capturing a whole new feel that is surprising yet exciting - it's a sure fire hit that will please the loal Darlinghurst followers and capture the hearts of new fans.

"Unapologetic's message is this - buy all means, listen to other people's opinions, but don't disregard your own. Don't be afraid to disappoint if you don't meet other's expectations", says Cassie Leopold.

Unapologetically know your own worth; fight for it if you must. Success comes in the lonely hours, and it can be awfully lonely when it feels like it's you alone against the world, but sometime you just have to trust your gut and jump".
