Press Play is back at the Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima (MAP mima) with a weekend of family friendly fun to celebrate the end of summer and our summer exhibition, Valley of a Thousand Plants.

Be immersed in Joel Zika’s vibrant and captivating exhibition, dance the night away at our kids disco, or join us for art making and performances by St Paul's Catholic College Aboriginal dance group.

Join us for a weekend of workshops, artmaking, music, dancing and more!

Friday 23 February | kids disco, Friday Night Foodies and exhibitions

Press Play: Kids Disco
5-8pm | Free event
Bring the kids to this free and fun family disco. Dance along to the sweet beats of DJ Jun Wan as you are immersed in the beautiful and bright flower display Valley of a Thousand Plants by Joel Zika.
Plus, free face painting by Midnight Dreaming Studio. 

Friday Night Foodies
5-8pm |Grab dinner by the lake
Our Friday Night Foodie, Dog House Grill, will be on site serving authentic American Street food. Plus Harry and Lola's cafe is open until 8pm.

Press Play: create a sculpture of an Antarctic strawberry feather star

Come join us and unleash your creativity as we make a magnificent sea creature out of unique recycled materials.
If rough seas, wind or rain prevail this event will move into the Cube at MAP mima.

Press Play: Dingo in the Dark Performance
10am and 11am | Free | Bookings essential
Join students from St Paul's Catholic College Aboriginal dance group for a fun and interactive story time. Children will create their own shadow puppet to take home.
