Wendy Lesniak

Wendy Lesniak has been painting for over 20 years and exhibitions all over the Hunter region. She has won many awards over the years and has sold many paintings. Wendy has mainly painted local iconic scenes around Newcastle and the Lake Macquarie area. She loves to paint in water colour but in the past seven years has ventured out to include pastels, loving the vibrant colours you can obtain in this medium. Wendy is a life member of the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Art Society and a member of the Society of Artists. She is thrilled to be joining Kate Belton, the owner of Tinkat Alley Studio at Fassifern for the June Open Studio Tour.

Wendy paints local iconic scenes mainly around the area where she lives in Warners Bay. Her medium is Water colour or pastels. Wendy only uses top quality products and paper. All her artwork is framed with frames being purchased from Aaron framed it. Usually she sticks to white frames that will suit most homes. Some brands used are Schmincke, Holbein, Windsor Newton Paints, and Arches Medium 300gm watercolour paper.
