Joan is an artist with many interests including pottery, needlework, textile crafts and more recently unique handbag creations. Many years ago, Joan did a Tafe course in Pottery then joined Newcastle Studio Potters where she exhibited her artwork for the first time which initially sparked this passion. As a dressmaker in her early days Joan delved into many needlework and textile crafts so it was a natural progression for her to make my individualised Handbags.
