PRESS PLAY! Curious Creatures Party

Join us for a massive family-friendly dance party in Speers Point Park with giant illuminated puppets boogying to the beat!

The Curious Creatures Party is a free event brought to you by MAP mima in collaboration with Curious Legends as part of PRESS PLAY! Together we're throwing on a weekend of fun for kids, including immersive arts exhibitions, artmaking, performance workshops and a fabulous, creature-themed party.

From 4pm, puppeteers and creative maestros Curious Legends will be on site running free mask-making and performance workshops. Kids get to craft their own unique creature and bring it to life through theatre and performance, in preparation for the evening party. For added delight, the Curious Legends creature puppets will come out to play.

From 7pm we'll let the wild rumpus begin! As night falls in Speers Point Park, the Illuminated Giants and our little creature performers show us how to party, shaking their tails to the music. All are welcome to join in the fun.
