The Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima (MAP mima) is seeking proposals for immersive and interactive artworks that transform its 360° projection space into a celestial experience.
This commission invites artists to explore themes of stargazing, cosmic wonder, and the vastness of the universe through innovative digital storytelling.
MAP mima invites artists to submit expressions of interest for immersive projection artworks that transform the Cube into a portal to the stars, creating awe-inspiring and otherworldly experiences for audiences. Whether submitting an exhibition-ready project or a proposal for development, artists are encouraged to explore themes of celestial navigation, cosmic landscapes, and the mysteries of the night sky.

- National and international artists and/or artist teams welcome to express interest
- Council is offering a commission with a total budget of $5,000 plus GST towards the creation, development and production of a new work for the Cube.
