Come and enjoy a morning of fun with a story on the big screen, and then fun hands-on activities.

A unique storytime experience in the Multi-Arts Pavilion (MAP mima) using projection and digital stories, followed by art-making and shadow play. There is a different theme each month.

Suitable for children aged 2-5 years.

Held the third Wednesday of the month February – November 2024, 10am. December program held on Wednesday 11 December, 10am.

Bookings are essential. All attending adults and children require a ticket. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Harry & Lola's Cafe will be open.

About the venue: MAP mima is located in Speers Point Park, off Park Street, on the edge of Lake Macquarie. MAP mima is accessible by ramp with accessible toilets. MAP can be reached easily from the lake foreshore cycleway, the water, or by public transport. There is plenty of parking for cars, and buses with accessible spaces available, onsite and in the surrounding parklands.

This event may be photographed and filmed and your image could be used in advertising and promotion by Lake Macquarie City Council. Should you wish to not be photographed or filmed please advise event organisers on entry at the event.
