Lake Mac Creatives: Free workshops and networking event

Piper Butcher performs at Warners Bay Theatre.

Lake Macquarie City Council is offering artists, musicians and creatives a unique opportunity to improve their branding and networking skills.

We’ll be hosting a free professional development event for local creatives on Saturday 15 March at Warners Bay Theatre, baramayiba.

The event, held in collaboration with Creative Plus Business, will include two specialised workshops and a presentation with Cementa Festival co-founder Alex Wisser.

The morning workshop will teach participants about the importance of personal and professional branding in the creative industries.

Attendees are then invited to enjoy a light lunch and hear a case study on the rise of Cementa Festival, a biennial arts and culture festival held in regional NSW.

The afternoon will conclude with a practical networking workshop and tips for creatives on how to use it effectively to further their practice.
