Lynnette Lucas has lived in the area 37 years having taught art at Pims Art Group for many years, teaching adults and children. She started Southlakes Art with Catherine Rowe because a lack of services for people to attend any form of art in the lower hunter. She is the president of ALM Art at Cooranbong and wants to create a place where people can learn and achieve art for love and pleasure and gain confidence. She is looking forward to Open Studios as it gives these people an opportunity to be involved.
