ARTea's Gallery and Garden

ARTea’s Gallery & Garden is like no other space in Lake Macquarie to visit. A social enterprise in the heart of Swansea, it encourages the community to celebrate its talents, connect, learn and grow. A project of Swansea Community Cottage Inc, ARTea’s is led by volunteers. It houses a gallery, garden, giftshop, tearooms and a venue space.

The gallery and giftshop displays and sells work by local artists and hobbyists as well as local and pre-loved creations. In the garden and nursery, there are natives, bush tucker, herbs, indoor plants and fresh vegetables for sale. The tearooms serve Devonshire Tea and light snacks for $5-$6 donation. The renovated 1833 chapel is open to the public Wednesday-Sunday 10am-2pm unless it is being used by the community for an event and workshop. It is also available for private functions.
