Janelle's artistic journey blossomed during the COVID era. With a deep-rooted love for creativity, she had successfully run an Event Management Company for 25 years. However, when the pandemic struck, her business went into hibernation, leaving her with an abundance of free time. In October 2020, Janelle's sister gifted her art classes, and by November, she found herself immersed in the vibrant world of TinKat Alley Studio in Fassifern, NSW. The newfound passion for art filled her days after selling their business.

Since them, Janelle has sold numerous paintings, received over 15 commissions, and earned several Commended Awards. She even won the People's Choice Award two years in a row from the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Art Society.

A few years ago, Janelle began teaching at TinKat Alley Art Studio, where she shares her expertise in Acrylic Art with beginners. She delights in passing on the tips and tricks she has gathered over the years.
