NALMAS - Lola Rose Award Exhibition

The Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Art Society will be holding an art exhibition at Warners Bay Theatre, baramayiba incorporating the Lola Rose Award.

This is an annual Lola Rose Memorial Exhibition. Mrs Rose was a well-known local artist who won countless awards and widespread recognition for her paintings. Mrs Rose and a group of fellow artists were active in the development of the Newcastle Art Gallery.

This is a free event, come along and immerse yourself in a wonderful art experience.

Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Art Society have been participants in the Dobell Festival since 2021 and support the promotion of cultural activities in Lake Macquarie.

This art exhibition showcases the work of local artists. The artworks include a variety of media including watercolour, acrylic, oil, pastel and pencil. Local artists display their passion and creativity through a wide selection of styles.

Exhibition opening and awards presentation: Saturday 8 June.
Exhibition: 9am-3pm, Monday 9 - Sunday 15 June.
