Lost and Found in Bunnings

Who would have thought that places like Bunnings, where daggy men lurk in the aisles, would be a hot bed of partner swapping? For among the loose screws and garden mulch, there are bored wives whose heads might be turned by a dag more stylish than their own. There is a lot of sizzling on sausage cooking days, and a variety of dag to be found in every aisle, where their interests and predilections are immediately apparent.

In Lost and Found In Bunnings, two couples are happy that they were shopping on the same day.

Playwright - Diane Bartok

Diane Bartok describes herself as a Late Bloomer Boomer, with pent-up creative ideas bursting out from her remaining active brain cells. After a lifetime in journalism where she learned that fact is stranger than fiction, Diane has turned her energies to creative writing, drawing upon real experiences.

She has always been able to see the funny side of life, so comedy writing, in short stories and short plays, is her preferred domain. Her family and friends know they are fair game for her comedy, especially Husband No 1 and Husband No 2. They provide comedic inspiration without really trying.

Diane’s other hobbies are embarrassing her two children and providing shock value to her Rotary club. Diane, on the cusp of 70, lives in the seaside town of Ettalong Beach on the NSW Central Coast, with other Boomers and a smattering of brave young families. Apart from writing and causing mischief, Diane likes to read, laugh with friends, and nap.She is not fond of housework, dogs or serious people.
